Very positive in my opinion.
In my recollection, the government previously announced that two of the frigates would be built in SA in the ASC precinct area and the balance at Henderson in WA - which is ASB's back yard.
More recently the government (Christopher Pyne) announced infrastructure would be improved over the next couple of years in both locations to the tune of $1.5 bn or so.
I think the government would be very pleased about this announcement today and would not be surprised if behind the scenes they have been effectively encouraging them to work closely together.
