If you took away the previous expectations, and looked at a confectionary company making roughly 26 million AUD revenue this year with forecast of a 70% increase in sales next fiscal year to around 45 mill AUD being breakeven/slightly profitable. Add into this 40 mill cash in the bank, a former Hershey CFO (http://ww2.cfo.com/hiring/2015/08/hersheys-cfo-choice-wasnt-sweet-research-firm-says/ interesting article regarding Hershey and trying to replace Bert), a new product line being launched and penetration into Canada and Australia. Also we have the Nielsen data that yowie has been the ONLY chocolate that has grown market share every week for the past 12 months in the USA. And we are now sitting at only 85 million market cap or 45 million EV. I think I can safely trust Bert to execute yowies plan whilst keeping expenses as low as possible. Him purchasing 100k AUD worth of shares (One third of his annual wage) was a sign of confidence.
I think overall this has all the right pieces to be very successful. Previous guidance from Wayne and missing this guidance has hurt investor confidence and smashed the share price.
