Hi Beany
When you say you are doubting yourself do you mean you are doubting your FA, TA or both? Take heart though if you look through the ST thread the good posters that do FA are all in there early and are patient and battle with the SP not reflecting the fundamentals as they see them.
If you're doubting your FA how much is qualitative as opposed to quantitative, the more quantitative your analysis the more comfortable you should be.
If you're doubting your TA there's a couple of things you can do, the first is go back to the start of this thread and read it through again (I've got it open in about 3 places and when I get to the end I go back to the start again). The other thing you can do is a full blown bar by bar analysis of a stock you find interesting - start with the monthly picking a spot where it gets interesting and write it up as Jako would, then do the weekly & then the daily - you needn't necessarily post it - but just the exercise of doing your best to emulate Jako with his mystery chart will help.
Or are you getting frustrated at not being able to find uptrending stocks?
