There is no real answer to your takeover question, although it is a very valid one.

If someone really wanted coal in the UK, well, the opportunity is ripe for them right now.... But, coal in it's entirety is in a tough position atm with all the greeny and social pressure it's being placed under, even though it still plays a very large role in the commodity world - and will for a long time yet. It's a risky play for anyone that is not a Tier 1/2 producer imo

I would speculate that if any takeover attempt was to come to fruition, it wouldn't be before any results or resource upgrades of Redmoor are made available/announced. Could be more interest in that commodity space from the broader community.

It is becoming very cheap with all that is going on though.... Wonder what RCF' average price is? haven't looked back far enough to know.
