Sirius weren't Sirius when they decided to spend their last dollar on a Hail Mary drilling an untested conductor. It's called "Exploration" and "Discovery", not "Certainty" and "Already Knew".
And Nova is a cash cow regardless of price for metals. That's why IGO paid $1.8Bn for it, and others want to find another.
