    @V*

    Re- the question about broker data, and how to interpret it, from the XJO thread.

    @Anton Chigurh uses, and more importantly analyses, broker data, and IMO shows a far greater understanding of this data than most who post it on Hot Copper.
    From what I understand there is much more to it than just the raw numbers.
    Mostly, you will need to gain a broad understanding of all the different brokers, and the role they play in the market.
    Then understand what the numbers maybe saying in relation to the different brokers (considering their role in the market).
    I don't think this analysis is an exact science, and I imagine it will offer up different probabilities of a certain outcome, rather than identifying that a particular outcome WILL happen for sure.....sort of in a similar fashion to how charting only offers probabilities of a certain result.

    Anton is a fine member of Hot Copper, and although quite busy at times, will usually offer advice when asked & has the time.
    Hopefully he will drop in now I have tagged him, and will point you in the right direction (although I expect the education in this area will be one of a slow accumulation of knowledge over time, as opposed to a website or textbook on the subject).

    cheers
