A closer look at the numbers shows a big difference in Opex (excluding haulage for FOB):
Total Minegate Operating Cost/tn = Mining+ Processing/tn + G&A/tn
RWD = US$159.5/tn + US$4/tn = US$163.5/tn
AMN = US$94.7/tn + US$18.6/tn = US$113.3/tn
How can AMN's operating cost be so low?
Well it is because AMN's Mining and Processing Costs are lower.
But how is AMN's Mining and Operating cost so low?
All these numbers have been taken from their respective scoping studies. Check for yourself.

The haualge and port costs make more sense given how remote Lake Mackay is:
RWD = US$99.1
AMN =US$143.10
