Every property I have brought I first decide on the suburb (s) and then I look online and go through all the listings that are available. If I like any then I approach the agent. I will also ask the agent to keep me in mind if they have any new listings coming onto the market.
If you look at a lot of the advertising in the RE space it's all about advertising the actual RE company/agent.
