You have lost a fortune if long at above $1 or 80/70 cents and now it's half that.
My many clients over 35 years would complain and stress if their stock fell just 20% and want out.It's called Capital preservation and sure as hell beats dividend payouts.
Even the most conservative say you need to cut a position when it's tanking and for the obvious reasons.
It's like getting married, one in two ends in a very expensive divorce.
