This maybe self serving confirmation bias but when I look at stocks like EML, RXP which have delivered pretty good results but been battered I think of Peter, Paul and Mary:
Where have all the buyers gone?
Cobalt and Lithium, every one
Oh when will they ever learn, oh when will they ever learn?
Read the STT forum and think why aren't they talking about IT, Health, Fintech any more?
Who's going to provide liquidity and demand for our stocks now? We already hold and they ain't buying. Without demand for shares the price will go sideways or down.
Maybe I am building a thesis to suit my perception, but this has been the case since the start of the year.
