    I can't argue that it doesn't sting watching the SP tumble as it did, because had I waited I could've got it at more of a discount. Sure, the 'value' is less now as a result of the downgrade, because the time it'll take to reach its potential is longer and also more uncertain, but those are the risks when investing in companies that require earnings to catch up to price.

    My hope is that the revenues (and subsequently earnings as revenues will eventually fall to the bottom line) grow at a rate where, several years from now, the SP is multiples of where it currently stands. I bought knowing the short-term downside risk but at the risk of it never dropping, was happy to get it at my original price (and happier to top up at $3.50).

    It is funny you mention amazon because, had you bought at IPO and held, you would've had to stomach several drops, including 90+%. That is the nature of the game in this space.

    Due diligence and patience.
