As for "Half of the movement is derived from a forecasted price set by the "guru" and the other half by where we are today." where we are today should only impact if has impacted the long term forecast.

Also I am not concerned about the movement but the value - the movement will always be impacted be people be irrational, day traders, people losing patience or just happy to take their profits.
