Wyckoff trading method, page-1216

Thank you for such a helpful thread, all!
This post of yours @Jako64 was particularly intriguing and timely for me, since I was just puzzling over some stocks that seem red hot, but has this upthrusts all over the place (avz daily chart, for one). Point taken about nothing being guaranteed, will heed that caution.
One other thing that's puzzling me is a stock that we're both into at the moment - ajm.

As an observation from a greener than noob(me!), it seems that VSA does not work when someone seems determined to keep price down (this can be seen watching the trading activity).

Is there any other charting style that will give better information in this case?

Would appreciate your input, and other charting experts here, as well.
