I collected a lot of building hardware over the years , I have stuff in 4 zones for ease of finding things .
Elect , plumb , carpentry and paint .
You can have other areas for gardening gear , wheel barrows etc or whatever , but for me that is in another shed.
That picture with the shelves , if that was my setup, I would make half a shelf for each trade I mentioned , just a thought , relax.
