I have chosen AUI as my kids' long-term savings vehicle.

The normal deal is that I match every dollar they save, except I have a Christams 'special' where I triple their savings. Look out for 3 small on-market buys on the last day of the year.

They are too young to get summer jobs, but they have already mowed every nature strip in the street, grandparents lawns etc. They are on a mission.

They other day my younger son said 'dad, would it be better to buy half one week, and wait to see if the market drops to buy the other half ?'

Thats my boy !
