What a load of baloney. Yes it is serious. Yes it is shot across the bows about how international casino businesses are promoted (or not) in China. The parties concerned will adapt their marketing practices. A fine will be paid - hopefully the people concerned will be released as soon as possible. No sensitive info will be released re gamblers.

There is no way China can afford to be seen to be ruining international investors. They need foreign money.
