Very insightful, better than just comparing it to RAP, like there's some medical app boom happening?
I guess if ePAT can determine whether a preverbal child is in pain or upset via other reasons as you put it (hungry or cold etc), does the tech need more R&D to determine the different "crying expressions"?
For my kids they all look the same just crying at the top of their lungs with tears rolling down lol.
I assume the tech needs updating as dementia people don't cry like babies. Seems like a complex problem, which needs more clinical trails to determine the many crying expressions of babies and toddlers.
But then of course they might open up a whole new market, one that all parents dream of. Imagine an app that can determine whether your baby is hungry or cold or has wind or wants to be carried, etc etc..now that would be a bigger market than just determining whether they're in pain which usually a thermometer and physical inspection will do most parents.
But of course this need more money in R&D, so lets hope that can commercialise the product for the dementia market soon. Then they can start getting revenue as you stated Longwalker, but how much can they get with only $500k budgeted for S&M? Enough i hope, or a CR might cap the SP in the future.
Expand
RAP did a raise of $12M at 20c and the stock kept going , it all depends if the CR is used to fund growth, then sometimes the metric of share price increases to justify the higher market cap
