Wood heaters

Very interesting comments about underfloor heating, aluminium cans for cleaning flue etc.
My wife and I live in a 1939 build farmhouse which we have renovated but still has a few areas where the cold gets in but this year we installed a Lopi Liberty slow combustion wood heater without a fan and it's a ripper. The other game changer for us was to install underfloor insulation under our old cypress pine floor boards. These are like esky foam that can be cut to size and fired between floor joists made a huge difference.
