Surfing and Skateboarding to be Olympic sports

Yesterday's announcement that Surfing and Skateboarding have been selected as Olympic sports has the potential to significantly raise the profile of a retailer such as SRF. The massive audience and high profile that the Olympics presents will open up the Surf and Skate culture to the world. At present SRF predominantly appeals to the surf/skate culture of Aus/US and European youth but lifting it's profile to the entire world presents a whole new demographic of youth aspiring to engage and be a part of this culture. SRF has massive potential as a result of this announcement.
