Yes it's erratic and a couple of us did provide warning. The reason is that this is a stock that mines shareholders not minerals. They just keep getting new tenements they can use to ramp the next capital raise when they think they've exhausted the cap raising potential of the present/previous ones.
You're excited because they've announced a some lithium rock chips in association with some gold references. Well before that the company already had a lithium prospect (also lepidolite) in QLD and undergoing a gold exploration program at Mt Ringwood. Where was it trading? Sliding down.
They may be on to something substantial at last but the fact is that the recent news is without genuine substance, as are all rock chip samples announcements. It means little to anyone with any experience to see rock chips. Send a competent geo on site with a brief to bring back samples of x and of course you get back something that looks interesting - it's too easy and the sort of reason we have the Jorc code. There seem to be plenty of pegmatites in that region, again a competent geo shouldn't have much trouble bringing in helpful samples so it's best to forget the recent news and watch and wait for favourable conditions - either solid technical patterns or proper drilling results.
