The combination of tearful Melbournians and something of a Storm has the whole state drenched in tears: whilst the nation cheers. Even heard a sobbing Geelong supporter lay claim to Ben Cousens as a Vic because father Brian jogged a few laps of Kardinya Park. God forbid!
It's the greatest game in the world and will not be tarnished one iota by the blubbering reactionaries of the VFL these past few days.
The king is dead, long live the king AFL.
