It is not a zero sum game.... MKO will only open to toll treat if it is worth while for them to do so and I can't imaging running the plant at 20% capacity will be profitable.
I also doubt very much that the cost to open the plant will be anything less that $5m and more like $10m based off recent experience at Wiluna.
If they are so close to going back into production mode I would have thought that they would have Quotes to do any work required to restart and released these numbers. Until then we are all only guessing. I hope you are right!
MKO has done nothing in the last 6 months whilst EAR has had some good exploration progress and scoping study results.
Sure there are some good synergies longer term once EAR, MKO and neighbouring mines get a resource in the order of 900m tonnes at >2gpt.... Then I will get excited.
It would be great for MKO holders to get bought out but I don't see why EAR would do this either until there is a big enough resource. MKO mkt cap at 52 wk high was around 35m so would not expect to buy for less than that.
There has been no information flowing from MKO and EAR has been making good Anns but lacking enough detail to Give any confidence that they can deliver what they say.
Looking forward to more info. Released from both.

Barry
