If you ain't one of the big 4 you don't get supported by the govt......cause you ain't big enough. As for the Credit unions they are not banks, they run under a different set of rules that restrict what they can do. And when was the last time your local credit union returned a dividend to you?? Their profits are invested in their offers to their members.
