I wasn't saying they had 138,000, just that it had to be more than 1000. I'm sure some of the NOR folk would be able to extrapolate an App Annie ranking to download/conversion ratio, but K, knowing there are <10,000 downloads it will be interesting to see how many make that leap for downloading to actually $$$$.

I've been a tad disappointed that they haven't integrated the apps more tightly. EVERY Flexiroam app should have been sent a push notification encouraging them to download X, with a sweet loyalty offer.

Even in that Interview, when asked can you keep your number, the answer was no. A much better answer would be YES, you simply purchase a local number (Aussie) and divert your mobile to this number. (No issue as you won't be using your credit/plan when you are out of the country anyway). In fact, it should be part of the membership. This way you solve all of the average Joe travelers issues.

JUST TURN ON X, and everything is OK! No bill shock, contact people as normal, be contacted as normal. Then again most people can probably make do with Viber/whats app/skype etc

For corporate travellers this isnt much of an issue, as many will have their own softphone's linked to their corporate PBX's, so they only need data to being with, and they will be accessible.

As for quality, well I didn't expect much. Something is better than nothing, and they aren't going to MVNO with Telstra are they? $$$ K, you do know you can choose the Speed test server you connect to for a more accurate result
