Most times you wont stop water ingress, its impossible its ground water but you can fit pumps to the lowest points and dig several sumps that are fitted with pumps. As long as you can eject the water faster than the incoming water you can still mine, you also have to pump it well clear of the mine or you are just recycling your own pumped water.
Sure KRM has had issues in the past but from what I see they have systematically been working through them,,as you say we will know in a couple of weeks, meanwhile they are on some good seams.
If you have been on this stock for a while you will note it swings massively between 15c to 27c in the last 60 days alone. This stock will travel up like the other gold stocks have, to me its only a matter of time.

Rather have my investment in KRM who are actually mining gold than some of what I call Gold Explorers.
