Just like my previous home. I never used it because it was $450 a load for firewood so I has a reverse cycle A/C installed which was much cheaper to use and easy.
Trouble is they only heat and cool the air so when you turn them off it rapidly loses the effect.
This house is the Country Builders home with the solar passive living area. It works a treat in the winter when the sun gets low enough to get under the verandahs and onto the tiled floor over concrete. That heat lasts because of the thermal mass that's been heated so even if it's cold, as long as it's sunny I don't need any heating.
I've heard of reverse cycle ducted A/C that is reasonable[running cost] to use because it used commercial grade equipment.
I don't know if that is correct?
