No, I am from Perth. marron - large freshwater crayfish.
Every January and February, the lucky fishers of WA have the opportunity to capture a real delicacy - the native freshwater crayfish known as marron
I am a volunteer (in season) for research.

Freshly caught with fresh damper or Scottish baps or equivalent of (LOL) and loads of butter.
I have one I caught on the wall. LOL
Quite large for an uncultured one - some are manufacturing blue marron for aquariums.
