@Wheres-Wally well done i getting some valuable information from the company.
Something things i would like to point out since you have compared it to Idera.
1. Idera is not on premise, the backups can be stored anywhere. Even in the "cloud". So that information is wrong. ( Our idera server is hosted by a completely different provided in a different data center, guess what! Its in the cloud )
2. Idera uses "military grade" encryption. Please dont be fooled by this cliche. Its just AES 256 bit encryption, most secure internet applications use this.
3. Idera can also backup all of those databases.
4. Idera is also capable of doing incremental database backups
5. I will investigate the email option, i used imap when i did my test and it didnt save any folders. I will try again and report my findings.
