Got on for the first time the day of the Half-Year results at $6.15.
I started my usual long-term position building process. Deck of buy orders, at 5% increments below initial buy. My next order ($5.85) unluckily did not trigger, price dipped to $5.89.
This year was bad for them. $90 million adverse COGS (high sugar, tin plate, PET prices) and hyperinflation conditions in Indonesia. The 5 years prior to this were quite good.
I am comfortable in holding CCL long-term from these price levels. ROC is comfortably double-digit, and they have reasonable growth projects. As such a trailing PE of 14 and a dividend yield of 5.2% FF is attractive.
