Consolidation doesn't change the underlying financials or projects and therefore does not effect the implied value of the company by such financials/projects.
I think we should be realistic about a possible CR as well - what's the alternative for MPJ to fund these projects? Debt. Who do you think will lend MPJ the funds they need at an affordable price (i.e. adequate interest rate), given their current risk profile? Probably no one I'd say, at least not until there's some positive news. I'd personally choose a CR over the company imploding!
