I agree with you that new management would be positive but that's not gonna happen now. We're stuck them for-better or for-worse.
Why invest then? Well I disagree with you that nothing's new. One thing is new. The resource gravy train has dried up. Tech is the play now. Nobody is gonna give them any money for anything other than tech. The recent CR only happens if a deal is struck. If they don't strike a deal then the cash runs out. There isn't a lot left, and management are greedy and won't work for free, so IMO we'll find out soon enough.
I respect those that don't invest (although commenting on every thread and announcements doesn't reflect well). Shells are high risk and this would be one of the riskier ones. But at this MC and a deal decision soon, the reward is high too. I am happy to take the risk on as shells have worked well for me.
