He sure is.. But it reads to me as if he is comparing his "Ex" position and knowledge about the Thred platform against that of FB@work cc'ing in the Slack platform for whatever reason.. Thred was never meant to be a competitor of FB however FB@work is a business communication tool so we can draw our own conclusions on whether:
A) Thred may be a possible serious competitor of FB@work platform..
B) Thred may be a possible takeover target by FB/FB@work if it's more comprehensive..
C) Both of the above..
D) None of the above and Boom has completely lost the plot..
