Bond yields and Gold must be stable within specific range that is similar to inflation target in order to ride out deflationary chain but those asset classes are intervened by trade war in which short term bond yields are lead indicator to favor popular ETFs where those trading engines could tell the markets in bullish or bearish conditions.
