Hi Guys,
Thanks for adding to the meaningful discourse.
My post was purely to promote further discussion.
I am aware there are some people who may even have had some entry far north of 20c. As they say, you win some and you lose some, and hopefully with careful research win more than you lose. I still remember some of the pre-IPO roadshows, one of them at the Lord Forrest Hotel in Bunbury while I was still down that way.
Regarding the CR, I think we are still OK. Unless we see volumes of 20million+ a day trending down to 1.5c and below, the CR will still go through. As for being oversubscribed, I will wait to see the prospectus.
Basically when I last spoke to SHE management, their thoughts were to get the prospectus out ASAP and conclude the funding round.
Frankly speaking, I'm also underwater on some portion of purchases which for sure is an uncomfortable feeling. That's the way it goes when being involved in something that's quoted in real-time and can be traded in lots of hundreds of dollars.
I know many have sold out, and more are doing so, trying to anticipate a downtrend and reentering at the bottom.
While that's a viable trading strategy I don't quite believe in this myself as many good companies have been denied funding and unable to get good projects off the ground because of speculators.
I agree that management could still do much better than what they are doing now, especially in the area of creating shareholder positivity.
The retrace really got happening near EOFY and I wonder how many were selling also because of tax implications, then stayed out because of the perceived downtrend.
Either way I believe the most important thing as shareholders is to send our feedback to the executive management on how we would like to see the company moving and being run. While it is not possible for any executive team to base all their decisions on shareholders, nonetheless it gives them the basis to justify what may be a risky move or at the very least let's them know the shareholders are actively overseeing the situation.
At this stage it's still early days, and I honestly believe that if we are to see it through, for those who are still here (and from the chart it looks like there are plenty still holding on) we should remain positive, communicative, and provide strong constructive feedback to the team.
I am based in Perth, as may be some of you guys, maybe we could all have a catch up sometime !
Cheers and DYOR
