re: cultana Found this in the Minotour quarterly which fitts in with what the EBR meeting was told. Perhaps some developments are dur this Qtr.
Cultana Joint Venture, ELA 105/00 (Eagle Bay Resources 75%, Minotaur 25%)
Negotiations for access to test one of a number of Falcon gravity anomalies on the
Department of Defence Training Ground at Cultana continued throughout the Quarter.
Unexploded Ordanance Surveys and an aboriginal heritage survey were
commissioned.
Tregalana Joint Venture, EL 2800 (Eagle Bay Resources 50%, Minotaur 50%)
The Myall Creek copper deposit, discovered in 1975 by Australian Selection Pty Ltd,
is characterized by variable copper grades (0.3 – 2.2%), extending over an area of
approximately 3 km2. This higher grade zone lies within a poorly defined broader
lower grade Cu–Zn–Pb-Ag mineralized zone of approximately 3km x 15km. The
mineralization occurs in a thin (0.5m – 2m thick) horizon at a variable and structurally
controlled 50m – 200m depth. As part of a review of the deposit, historical data were
compiled during the Quarter and two trial electrical geophysical traverses were
undertaken along historic drill traverses. The aim is to ascertain whether modern
geophysical methods may be able to delineate higher-grade zones of copper sulphides
for more cost effective drill testing. Results are expected in the next Quarter.
