litmus test...lol...bootleg
not a chance in a million years, that andean will be mining in 18 months. any production is a few years down the track
anyway, andean appointed finacial advisors about 3 months ago, and it does not seem that they have done too much,
and consider the following from an announcment from andean
"Your independent Directors are not surprised that the results to date have attracted the interest of some of the world’s major gold companies. Some of these companies are currently conducting due diligence on Andean and have already visited the Cerro Negro Project, with others still scheduled to visit."
given the lack of followup from the "worlds major gold companies" , which would indicate a lack of interest (or more likely a lack of intersest to match the kcn offer)-then it can be safe to assume that the kcn bid is fair. the reality is, is that the project at this stage, is nothing more than an attractive exploration play, with an inferred resource, of a miserable (approx) 800,000 0z, nad some promising targets.
watso would seem to think that the best that andean could expect from one of the "world major gold companies" would be some farm in proposal, which would result in significant dilution of andean shareholder equity
