Server-side rendered images, adaptively streamed via an intelligent thin-client.
DICOM is processed at the Visage 7 server, and never gets sent again for display.
Identical thin-client functionality for PC and Mac, app-based, with zero plugins.
Natively supports mobile access via Visage Ease Pro and Visage Ease for iOS devices.  Visage Ease Pro includes FDA 510(k) clearance for the mobile diagnostic interpretation of all imaging modalities except mammography.


For a no-tech-head like myself, PME difference is:
1. it makes internet transfer of ever-so larger imaging files faster than the rest;
I got this bizzare impression that the core technology was originally developed in the Visage's past life as part of Mercury for transmitting spy images... please help me remember from which presentation I got this idea. cheers.

2. it can be integrated, as best of breed component for the Viewer part, into other vendor platforms such as:
  -  Workflow IT platforms, e.g. Medicalis Professional Solution, Primordial
  - radiology data mining and analytics system, e.g. MONTAGE™
  - radiology reporting solution, e.g. Nuance PowerScribe

3. doctors on its platform can use Ipad through Visage Ease Pro to make diagnosis that's compliant with the medical regulations. No other vendor has this yet.
