That was not meant to be a reply to anything you said, I was simply raising my concerns about the design, which btw is my only issue with this tech.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for renewables and bought into SHE back in November after the HC alert came out and I read into it. Coal is dead etc etc, clean and green is the way to go. Investment in renewable energy over the last few years is testament to that.

I'm from SA, you know, the state that's the leader in green energy investment
So I suppose if we can put up with wind farms dotting country hillsides and having solar panels on pretty much every roof space, we can put up with floating arrays bobbing around off our open ocean rural areas.

It would not surprise me to see an array floating off the coast of KI or Pt Lincoln at some point in the future.
