now , you talk of debt yet if you take the last accounts I saw on commsec there is a pretty big surplus of current assets over current liabilities which helps bring down that long term debt a fair bit - perhaps they will have a few more adjustments due to restructuring, but the goodwill writedown should not affect the current assets and liabilities!?

I do take the point how the debt in $us is not good if earnings from there are slipping!

Would someone else like to comment as dct may not look back here now they have been discarded!
