I used the word entity in a general context. I have no idea who would hand over more cash on merely the spoken word of management. Are management good for their word ? I can only assume whoever put the cash up believes so

I see a few speculative trades happening today. I assume the speculators believe the sophisticated investors know something.

The term sophisticated investor is a very loose term at best.

JB's opinion on the sophisticated investors might be right. Current or past shareholders if willing to put up more cash would fit under the term sophisticated investor.
