I have just gone through a consolidation vote on another speccie that I own and the consensus is as follows.
1) Big Instos will not invest in a stock with large share holding and trading at 1c, hence the consolidation will hopefully bring in new and bigger investors. That's the theory anyway.
2) The general consensus is that the price will retrace a little once consolidation is completed. Means nothing in the long term because if we strike something it will shoot and if we don't it will tank anyway. No big deal, the only investors that will suffer are those that got in for pips instead of the big pay day. I'm in for the big one and am fully resigned to losing all if it fails, part of the gamble I guess.
3) It's all about Market Cap and with new blood because our share registry looks attractive, it should be ok medium to long term.
The underlying issue here is striking the mother lode, if we don't , doesn't matter if we have 10 shares or 1 billion shares. We have some great real estate, just need the drills to hit the sweet spot. My 1c worth.
