Sorry about so many posts but ABV does my head in.
The one market I have never heard them talk seriously about is the military market . Millitary are a brilliant client as they buy vehicles and hold them for 10-20 years in many cases and when you think about the amount of time they spend standing then overused to hell it would be crazy not to have a low service cost in both circumstances. Vehicles are often operationally overloaded to hell when required and at max capacities when in use let alone the advantages in harsh climates be that freezing cold , sand etc. Indian Tata etc is a definite possibility and get away from slow to adopt western corps. Add to that the lower heat signature for specialists vehicles and quiet operation .
Truck off landing craft etc no longer need to worry about water and sand and bogged trucks become operational straight away without brake checks and repairs.
they have to chase these high value opportunities urgently or partner with a defense supplier who has the skills , contacts and abilities. they have nothing to lose as it expands manufacturing and brings down overall costs and gives scale to the business where all development and management costs are shared over a wider base
Such a great product sitting on the shelf . Millitary also buy up spares in advance to ensure operational capacity etc so you have a continuous parts stockpile and could rotate via them if parts had a storage or end of life.
So did abv contact benze?? what brakes does the g wagon have ? This was a once in a lifetime local change of product we missed
