Not necessarily sure if they adopted any specific type curve since there is not much out there producing from the type of basin or even depth. And I did speak to the company about it and they clarified that they did allow for unsaleable gas content of c.25% or thereabouts (I can't recall the exact figure given).
I have had a quick look into some past announcements just to jolt my memory, and I think the resource upgrade statement provided a good summary of both wells - http://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20140219/pdf/42mtkp7hrmq6js.pdf
Epsilon gas was inferred in the summary for LC-1:
"Elevated gas readings were recorded across all coal intervals with gas concentration increasing with depth, as expected."
This implied they did register some elevated gas in the Epsilon formation but not as significant as the deeper coals.
As for K-1, no reference was made (implicit or explicit) to elevated gas above the deep coals.
