Had to short the open on this news, as it seems to me that the FY will be down about 20% roughly on pcp using uEBIT - Oroton's preferred measure it seems. At the AGM they were hoping for a slight increase - although I note that at least one analyst was sceptical of this happening.
Does anybody understand precisely what this following snippet means? Are they comparing metrics from one q with metrics for the preceding half? Seems a bit high on fog factor.
"Pleasingly, our Oroton brand had a stronger Q2, especially in December, with sales and a gross margin percentage to sales higher than H1 14……but not at a level sufficient to make up the earnings reduction vs. H1 14 in the first quarter."
Hopefully for the long suffering shareholders there will be some better news over the next Xmas period.
BTW - I also think the photos of Rose Byrne look grandmotherly somehow. Not sure how they make such a great looker and talent look that way. Maybe it is only me that feels that way.
