Been through these hurdles myself when I worked for a medical device manufacturer. The reality is that these guys who review and ask the questions are tools. They usually are disorganised and do not have experience or knowledge in the subject that they are reviewing. So you just have to bite your tongue and go along with their circus.

The stupidity of some of those reviewers drove me nuts but you could not do much about it.
