if the truth be known, the level of engineering precision in Holdens - at least in engine components - is as good as Mercedes in critical areas (pistons/crankshafts/camshafts etc.) - maybe in safety and the trimmings Mercedes is better, and why wouldn't it be you're paying an arm and a leg for them - but for overall value a standard Toyota/Holden/Ford craps all over expensive Euro-trash.
and I do know what I'm talking about.
