re: single desk...awb to rise Single desk will remain, AWB will rise from the ashes. Don't forget that AWB shareholders are wheat farmers who own the wheat, and own AWB shares. They do not have to give the wheat or shares away, and have the capacity to store 2 years crops. Anybody wishing to muscle in on the wheat market, will have to pay the right price...which is much higher than now. The government mission to Iraq will point out that we have troops in the country, Canada hasn't. They will say that public pressure will mount to bring back the troops if orders aren't placed. AWB shares to rise considerably as they are backed with a premium product...wheat.
