Vegetable Oils: Beware of Common Fats, page-3

IMO you cannot go wrong using butter on your bread & toast, and using animal fat to cook the roast spuds, chips, eggs etc.

It tastes better, and I think it's more natural than using processed vegetable oils or a synthetic concoction like margarine.

And please, make your own gravy using the pan juices and fat from the roast - it tastes better and doesn't have ANY code numbers on the ingredients list.

Just juices, fat and flour. Add a bit of worcestshire sauce for added flavour - but only use Holbrooks or Lea & Perrins. The others are full of fake ingredients and more code numbers.

I have a theory - eat food without any code numbers, or minimise the amount of numbers in any food. Take red wine for instance. It usually only has 1 code number which is for sulphur preservative. Some 'foods' like instant noodles or instant soups for instance, contain almost nothing but code numbers as ingredients.
