IMO there is nothing inherently wrong with the announcement rather sentiment towards any form of risk is waning in the market and people with any sort of big money who can push the share price around want a definitive answer even though OEX has been mostly de-risked. Also many fund managers are slowly selling and going into cash so that would take the steam out of things when the media also speculate of a market correction in the coming months it has a flow on effect. Also throw in the many amateur irrational investors that don't know what they are doing and it is no surprise good news can result in a falling stock price.
