My strong gut feeling is we are all going to be short changed with the outcome of the offer from the NT Gov't. I'm sure I won't be getting anywhere near my original investment back.
The notion of a class action has crossed my mind several times in recent months but felt wise to wait while negotiations were still current.
It was only last weekend that an article was in the SMH or The Australian talking about how compensation lawyers are taking on companies and governments for losses incurred by investors. Maurice Blackburn compo lawyers got plenty of mention. I suppose our position right now is to await the final offer by the gov't before assessing this course of action.
